"Dreamkiller" with vocalist Christy Johnson. Dreamkiller is a Greensboro, NC based rock/alternative band with high goals in the industry. Founded in 2004 by professional actress/singer/model, Christy Johnson, who has been featured in such films as Tobe Hooper's Mortuary, National Lampoon's Pucked, Gospel Hill, and has performed at Carnegie Hall as well as two international tours to Europe, Dreamkiller played 73 shows in the first year and half they were together. Under their former name, they released an album dedicated to the memory of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson entitled "Just Another Freak In The Freak Kingdom" in April, 2005 and toured the Southeast Region that May to promote it. In early 2008 they were joined by Mark Perry, who is most recognized as Chris Daughtry’s former guitarist from "Absent Element", and rounded out the band in August with Guatemalan native, Tian Garcia. Their release, Ragnarök, is the theme song for the award winning controversial documentary, SUPERPOWER, currently sweeping the festival circuit. Now focusing on their full length album, Sleepless Dreams, and building a strong fan base, they’re quickly defining themselves as one of NC’s forerunners. Bellino Evans is a trumpeter, composer, gifted lyricist and key boardist. He has opened, toured, and/or performed with many popular artist including platinum group "Ben Folds V" (featured on "Me, Myself and Irene" starring Jim Carey), with Grammy award winners Ron Kenoly, Yolanda Adams, Archie Bell, platinum song writer Tom Maxwell of the "Squirrel Nut Zippers", and "Inner Circle" (“Bad Boys” from the Cops TV series.) and reggae giants "Burning Spear". He also has written music played on National Public Radio’s “The Peoples Pharmacy”. Currently Bellino leads "Impact".
